Unmatched Performance
“Plastic Fusion was hired to test, repair, and replace existing pond liners on a restart project. The scope of work included installing a new insulated HDPE cover on the existing AD lagoon. Not only was the quality of the crew’s work exceptional, PFF was given the “A Team” award for outstanding work ethic.”

Berm Liner Installation
Plastic Fusion Fabricators installs geomembrane liners for earthen containment berms, bunds, and dikes. When a facility builds an earthen berm to contain spills, runoff, or stored liquids, the berm itself isn’t impermeable — the liner is what makes it contain. We install fusion-welded HDPE and RPP geomembrane over and within earthen berms to create engineered secondary containment that holds. With 40+ years installing geomembrane containment across 24 states, Plastic Fusion is the contractor that lines earthen berms to actually contain.
An earthen berm — the raised soil wall around a tank, a containment area, or an industrial site — provides the shape of a containment system, but soil alone leaks. Lining the berm with a geomembrane turns it into a working barrier: an impermeable surface that captures spills and runoff and keeps them from reaching the ground. This is engineered containment, and it’s a different thing entirely from the portable modular spill berms and drum trays sold as off-the-shelf products. We line the earthen berms and containment structures built into a facility, sized and welded to contain for the long term.
Berm and Containment Structures We Line
- Secondary containment berms and bunds — lining earthen berms around tanks and storage
- Containment dikes — geomembrane lining for earthen containment dikes
- Erosion and perimeter berms — lining berms for erosion and runoff control
- Industrial site containment — lining earthen containment built into a facility
Engineered Containment, Not a Portable Product
Most of what’s sold as a “berm liner” is a replacement liner for a portable modular spill berm — a drop-in fabric for a pop-up containment frame. That’s a product, not a containment system. Plastic Fusion does the engineered work: lining the earthen berms, bunds, and dikes that form a facility’s permanent secondary containment, with fusion-welded geomembrane installed and tested to hold. If your containment is built from earth and needs to actually be impermeable, that’s what we install.
Materials
We install HDPE and RPP geomembrane berm liners, selected for the contents being contained and the exposure conditions. HDPE provides chemical resistance and durability for long-term containment; RPP offers flexibility where the berm geometry calls for it. Every liner is fusion-welded into a continuous barrier and detailed to the berm and the structures it protects.
