Unmatched Performance
“Plastic Fusion was hired to test, repair, and replace existing pond liners on a restart project. The scope of work included installing a new insulated HDPE cover on the existing AD lagoon. Not only was the quality of the crew’s work exceptional, PFF was given the “A Team” award for outstanding work ethic.”

Custom-Fabricated Tank Liners for Complex & Non-Standard Tanks
Plastic Fusion Fabricators custom-fabricates and installs flexible tank liners built to fit industrial, chemical, and non-standard storage and process tanks. A custom tank liner is a protective barrier fabricated to the exact dimensions of your tank and fitted inside it — sealing the tank, protecting its structure from its contents, and preventing leaks, corrosion, and chemical damage. We build our liners from HDPE, LLDPE, and RPP geomembrane, fabricated to fit and fusion-welded to seal. With 40+ years of geomembrane fabrication across 24 states, Plastic Fusion is the contractor that builds tank liners to fit the tank, not the other way around.
No two tanks are exactly alike, and an off-the-shelf liner that almost fits is a liner that will eventually leak. That’s why our tank liners are custom — fabricated to your tank’s dimensions, shape, fittings, and contents, so the liner seals completely and performs for the long term.
What Makes a Tank Liner “Custom”
- Fabricated to exact dimensions — measured and built to your specific tank, not cut down from a stock size
- One-piece, drop-in construction — fabricated in a single piece wherever possible, minimizing or eliminating field seams for faster installation and fewer failure points
- Complex and non-standard shapes — round, rectangular, or irregular tanks, including detailing around fittings, pipes, and penetrations
- Matched to the contents — material selected for chemical compatibility with what the tank holds
Tanks We Line
- Non-standard and complex tanks — round, rectangular, or irregular tanks that need a liner fabricated to fit, including detailing around complex fittings and penetrations
- Industrial process and storage tanks — bulk industrial liquid storage and active process tanks
- Chemical storage tanks — containment for acids, caustics, and process chemicals
- Difficult retrofit and reline jobs — aging or odd-dimension tanks where an off-the-shelf liner won’t fit
For standard commercial storage and process tanks, see our commercial tank liners.
Drop-In Tank Liners
A drop-in tank liner is custom-fabricated to your tank and installed as a fitted unit — dropped in and sealed rather than built up piece by piece in the field. One-piece fabrication means minimal field seams, faster installation, and a continuous barrier with fewer potential leak points. For tanks that need lining without extended downtime, a custom drop-in liner is the efficient solution.
Flexible Geomembrane Materials
We fabricate custom tank liners from the polyethylene family — flexible geomembrane that conforms to the tank and seals continuously:
- HDPE (high-density polyethylene) — broad chemical resistance and durability for a wide range of tank contents
- RPP (reinforced polypropylene) — flexible and highly chemical-resistant for aggressive chemicals and demanding service
- LLDPE — added flexibility for complex tank geometry and detailing
We fabricate from HDPE, LLDPE, and RPP rather than PVC — these polyethylene-family materials deliver the chemical resistance and service life that industrial and chemical tanks demand, and they fusion-weld into a continuous, monolithic barrier.
Custom Tank Liner Repair & Relining
When a custom liner ages or a tank’s previous liner fails, we fabricate and install a replacement fitted to the tank — relining a structurally sound tank to restore it to leak-free service without the cost of replacing the tank itself.

Custom Tank Liner FAQs
What is a custom tank liner?
It’s a tank liner fabricated to the exact dimensions and shape of your specific tank, then fitted inside it to seal the tank and protect its structure from the contents. Because it’s built to your tank rather than cut from a stock size, it seals completely — including around fittings and penetrations. We fabricate ours from flexible HDPE, LLDPE, and RPP geomembrane.
What is a drop-in tank liner?
A drop-in tank liner is custom-fabricated in one piece (or as few pieces as possible) and installed as a fitted unit — dropped into the tank and sealed. One-piece fabrication minimizes field seams, speeds installation, and reduces potential leak points.
What material do you use for custom tank liners?
HDPE, RPP, and LLDPE, selected by what the tank holds — HDPE for broad chemical resistance and durability, RPP for aggressive chemicals, LLDPE for flexibility on complex shapes. We fabricate from these polyethylene-family materials rather than PVC, for their chemical resistance and longer service life in industrial and chemical tanks.
Can you reline an existing tank?
Yes. If a tank is structurally sound but its liner has failed or aged, we fabricate and install a new fitted liner, restoring the tank to leak-free service without replacing it.
